Dr. Miller has lived in Delaware for twenty two years and raised her two sons here. Both boys went through Delaware public schools and graduated from the University of Delaware. Dr. Miller spent many years as a child therapist and decided to become a high school science teacher five years ago. She majored in biology before entering graduate work in psychology. Teaching biology at Lake Forest has allowed her to share her enthusiasm for her favorite subject. She now lives with her husband, Michael, their dachshund, Toby, and their 17 year old cat, Hota. She loves to kayak, hike, and create butterfly gardens. Because she grew up in a rural community in northern California–Lake Forest feels like home to her.
