Mrs. Zeman has lived in Delaware her entire life, after graduating from Marymount University in Arlington, Virginia, she returned to live in Delaware with her husband, Dan. She started life after college as an apprentice architect working out of St. Michael’s, Maryland, but decided her life’s work was going to be better designed working around the creative young minds of children. She received her Masters in Education from Wilmington University in January 2012, and worked at Woodbridge Elementary until June of that year. She started working at LFHS in August 2012, and has worked in several different capacities such as- Freshman Class Advisor, Drama Director, PBS Committee Member and TSA Advisor. Technology Student Association is near and dear to her heart, she has been named the TSA Advisor of the Year for Delaware at National Conference in 2015 and 2016. She aims to make all of her classes fun, because she hopes they serve as a creative outlet for students who spend most of their day worried over grades from other classes, homework, social pressures, etc. Understanding the creation and interpretation of technical drawings are a skill needed in almost every industry, if you have assembled a piece of Ikea furniture- your life has been impacted by technical drawings. Students who enter her pathway are more likely focused on becoming architects, engineers, designers, craftsman, or something similar.
