Lake Forest Family,
As I begin my 16th year in education, this marks my third year as a proud member of the Lake Forest High School administrative team! During my educational career, I have served as an educator, coach, assistant principal, principal, and adjunct professor. I attribute my life’s success to my faith, family, and hard work. Upon graduation from high school I attended Delaware State University where I continued my education and football careers as a Hornet. During my teaching and administrative career, I returned to my Alma Mater two additional times and earned my Masters and Doctoral degrees in Educational Leadership. I was truly honored and humbled in November of 2014 as I was inducted into my High School Hall of Fame for my professional excellence and community service. This will be my ninth year as an administrator and I look forward to continue this amazing journey with the entire Spartan family.
With student achievement being of utmost importance, it is essential that we continue to build meaningful positive relationships, provide rigorous curriculum and support, and afford our students the opportunity to reach higher heights as they strive towards college and career readiness. We will continue to deliver meaningful and engaging Common Core State Standard (CCSS) aligned courses, while meeting the needs of all students in a data driven environment.
Throughout life I have always strived to be honest, fair, and consistent as these are qualities that we must possess to be successful. I believe in discipline, dedication, determination, learning from teachable moments, and giving my best effort in all that I do. As an educator, mentor, coach, and currently administrator, I will continue to challenge myself and others to be successful.
To you, my Lake Forest family, I guarantee that I will give 100% effort and commitment to professionally, consistently, and caringly work as a positive component for student, staff, and community success.
