The Jefferson Awards were held on Monday, April 24, 2017 at the Chase Center on the Riverfront in Wilmington. The Jefferson Awards honor outstanding achievements in Public Service in Delaware. The Lake Forest High School Interact Club won a $500 dollar check for their “Project Hope” health and wellness project. Four students attended to represent the Interact Club and receive this award.
The was held on Tuesday, April 25, 2017 at Dover Downs. Christie Little and Sammy Price were both nominated and recognized at the dinner as exemplary scholars from Lake Forest School District for the graduating Class of 2017. Congratulations to Christie and Sammy!

On Saturday, May 6, 2017 South Elementary School will be hosting its First Annual Mother-Son Dance. The cost of the dance is $15.00 per couple and $5.00 for each additional child. This event is open to all K-8 Lake Forest Boys and their Mother or Mother Figures. It will be held from 6:00 to 8:00pm at South Elementary. On Saturday, April 8th, the Lake Forest High School Interact club will be hosting their 2nd Annual Prom Closet. It will run from 11am until 2pm. Refreshments will be served. It is open to all young people in Kent County. The dresses and suits are free of charge. Please help us make this a magical time for the students.
Mrs. Reed is still accepting gently worn formal dresses, short and long, as well as men’s suits. They are accepting donations of evening bags, bling-bling jewelry, and tiaras.
