LFHS May 22nd Senior Filming Postponed

Dear Class of 2020 and Families,

As you know, we have been working to hold a special event to celebrate your graduation from Lake Forest High School.

In collaboration with school stakeholders, the initial plan was to hold this event outdoors. Unfortunately, the current weather forecast is calling for wind and rain. We attempted to move the event indoors but are not able to meet the Governor’s State of Emergency Declaration and CDC requirements of no more than 10 people congregating in the school at once. We must, unfortunately, postpone the filming of students for the virtual graduation production planned for tomorrow, May 22, 2020.  At this time, we will monitor the weather forecast for Saturday, May 23, 2020, and if weather permitting, we will move forward with our scheduled plans to film. We will reschedule Friday’s event at a date in the near future.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and we look forward to celebrating the accomplishments of the Class of 2020 as soon as possible!
