Click the image below to view the District’s additional meal box distribution sites on December 17, 2020 and January 7, 2021. This Thursday, in addition to our usual boxes, CNS will also be handing out 14 additional days-worth of breakfasts and lunches per child to bridge the gap until we can resume services on January 7, 2021. The additional meals are provided by the Harry K. Foundation in conjunction with the Food Bank. We thank them for their efforts to help our community during the holidays!
Let us take this time to also thank you for your wonderful support of CNS this year – and since the beginning of COVID-19! CNS would also like to thank the administration and custodial and teaching staff in each building for their help with daily duties.
It’s GREAT to be a SPARTAN!
The Lake Forest Child Nutrition Services will not be handing out boxes of food during the week of Thanksgiving. However, “Feed the Hope” is an event that is scheduled for Saturday, November 21, 2020, at the Blue Hen Mall Corporate Center in Dover and sponsored by Calvary Dover. “Feed the Hope” is a first-come, first-serve opportunity and food box distribution that will begin at 10:00am. 40lbs boxes of fresh food will be given with meat, dairy, produce, and a grain product. Please click the flyer to view it in full.
