Consider Becoming a Mentor!

January is National Mentoring Month and we are seeking dedicated mentors to commit to spending at least 30 minutes with one of our students once a week.  Research shows that mentoring helps children achieve success in school and life by helping to build self-esteem, self-confidence, social values, interpersonal communication skills, and school engagement. (creativementoring.org)  To become a mentor for one of Central’s students, please complete the attached application and return it to Ms. Williams or Creative Mentoring using the contact information on the application or go to http://www.cgimentor.org/ to apply online.  We hope that you find the time in your schedule and space in your heart to be a Mentor to one of our Central Elementary Scholars.
