Mrs. Scott was born and raised in Syracuse, NY. After high school she attended the University of Delaware and graduated in 2007 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Animal Science/Pre-Veterinary Science and a Minor in Biology. While at the University of Delaware she was a coxswain for the Women’s Rowing team (Division I). Mrs. Scott received her Master’s Degree in Agricultural and Technology Education from the University of Delaware in 2008. After graduation Mrs. Scott and her husband moved to Appomattox, Virginia where she taught Agricultural Mechanics and Agricultural Production for 3 year. In 2011 she moved back to Lincoln, DE and started teaching Agriculture at Lake Forest High School. Aside from the animals raised at school she has over 100 acres of land where she raises beef cattle. Mrs. Scott and her husband Darren have 2 young children Lucas (age 3) and Ella (age 1). The National FFA Organization is dedicated to making a positive difference in the lives of students by developing their potential for premier leadership, personal growth and career success through agricultural education.
