Heidi Driscoll is here at Lake Forest High for her second year as a special education/mathematics teacher. She came to us from Sussex county, where she spent the last 13 years with the Indian River school district working as a middle and high school math and special education teacher. Mrs. Driscoll is originally from Rockport Massachusetts where she graduated from high school and attended Fitchburg State College University, in Fitchburg, Mass, where she received her Bachelors degree in Business Administration; Marketing/Management. After several years in the retail management business, she realized that she wanted to spend more time with her children. She loved math and enjoyed working with teenage students on a regular basis through work. It was at this point she decided to pursue her teaching certification and enter into the wonderful world of teaching. That was nineteen years ago in New Hampshire, and she has loved every minute. Along with teaching, Mrs. Driscoll has participated as an Odyssey of the Mind coach and judge for the past twelve years, run the math league club at both the middle and high school levels, was adviser for National Honor Society, Student Council, Year Book, and best of all, became a grandmother for the first time this past spring.
