Mrs. Vogt is a proud member of the Lake Forest community.  She graduated from Lake Forest High School (class of 1991).  She attended the University of Delaware, graduating in 1995 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in French Education and a minor in Psychology. While in college, she studied abroad at the University of Caen in France and traveled extensively throughout France and Europe.

Mrs. Vogt lives in Felton with her husband, Shawn, (LFHS class of 1989).  Their oldest son, Ethan, (LFHS class of 2017), attends the University of Delaware. Their son, Ryan, and daughter, Natalie, are currently students at LFHS. This year is Mrs. Vogt’s thirteenth year teaching at Lake.  Previously, she taught in Maryland and Vermont.  In her free time, she enjoys traveling and is an avid reader.  Mrs. Vogt has taken students to visit France in 2016 and 2018.  Ask her for more information about the next French trip!  She encourages all of her students to be involved in at least one club or organization this year and to attend some after-school activities to share in the amazing events that take place here at Lake Forest High School.
