Before entering graduate school, Mr. Burnham work at Together Youth Shelter, a temporary shelter within the Centers For Family Services in southern New Jersey. In the midst of pursuing a masters degree from Wesley College, a local school district reached out to the school in search of a certified teacher in an area of need. As fate would have it, that school was Lake Forest High School and Mr. Burnham accepted an offer to teach; he has been at Lake Forest High since that day in October of 2013.
Mr. Burnham now resides in the town of Harrington. When not in the classroom you can find Mr. Burnham coaching the Varsity Cheerleading Squad, the Boys’ Tennis Team, and assisting the TSA/Vex Robotics teams. When not working Mr. Burnham enjoys watching sports, outdoor activities, and spending time with friends. This year he has been telling his students, “You are what you have been made to do. If you want the skill then you have to be the one who does the work”.
