Ms. Haugh is originally from northern New Jersey, and moved to Delaware with her family in 2001. The oldest of 4 children, Ms. Haugh graduated from Caesar Rodney High School in 2010 and then from the University of Delaware with a BA in English Education in 2013. After earning a Family and Consumer Sciences license, Ms. Haugh began teaching Family and Consumer Sciences at Lake Forest High School in fall 2013. Currently, she co-sponsors the LFHS ProStart culinary competition team alongside local chef mentors from Harrington Raceway & Casino.

The most important piece of advice that Ms. Haugh has for students is to strive for substance over flash, both in food and in life.
