3) Reads daily to develop a love for reading and improve literacy skills.
4) Knows that you expect him/her to succeed in school and beyond.
As we continue to develop positive school-family relationships, we invite you to participate in as many of our activities as possible. Feel free to have lunch with your child, or schedule your day so you might be able to attend school-wide and classroom events. I also encourage you to join our PTO. They too are always looking for volunteers for their activities.
Remember to check your child’s agenda book. It will contain key information from the teacher. Each Wednesday an envelope, or folder, will come home. Please check inside for important information and return it to school. First through third grade parents may access your child’s grades on the Home Access Center.
The wonderful North staff and I feel privileged to be a part of this school family. We thank you in advance for your support and look forward to a wonderful year!
