Thanksgiving Break

School will be closed November 23rd – 27th.  Parent Conferences will be held Monday, November 23rd and a Staff Development Day on Tuesday, November 24th.  Thanksgiving Break is Wednesday, November 25th thru Friday, November 27th.

footballCONGRATULATIONS to the LFHS Boy’s Football Team for bringing the Bell back home!  The team won the Battle of the Bell last Friday night, 39-26 over Milford High School Bucs.  Click HERE to see a recap of the game! (Special thanks to Danny Aguilar for producing this video.)

The football team will be playing in the first round of the DIAA state tournament this Saturday, November 21st at 1:00pm at Tower Hill High School versus Wilmington Friends High School.  Tickets are on sale in the Lake Forest Guidance Office – all tickets for the first round of the playoffs are $5.   Come out and show your SPARTAN PRIDE!

Bishop patrols goal for LFHS Field Hockey

FELTON– Field hockey season comes in the fall, harvest time on the 2,000 acres Dale Bishop tills near Sandtown, about 15 minutes from Lake Forest High School.

But he tries to make it to most of Ali Bishop’s games, because he’s like everybody else. He wants to see what the Spartans’ spectacular goalkeeper will do next.

“I don’t know where she gets it from, but she’s got a drive that is unbelievable,” Dale Bishop said of his daughter. “Everything she goes to do, she wants to be a perfectionist at it.”
