LFHS Athletic Awards Ceremony

You are invited to join the Lake Forest High School Athletic Department & Athletic Boosters for a special evening honoring the achievements of our fall student athletes and to celebrate their accomplishments in the 2016 season.

The Ceremony will be held on Monday, December 12, 2016 at 6:30 p.m. in the Lake Forest High School Auditorium.  We ask that the athletes dress in formal attire (no jeans, shorts, t-shirts, sneakers).  If you have any questions please contact Margo Moyer or Fred Johnson (Mr. Johnson can also be reached at (302) 284-9291 ext. 531).

BPA to Offer a Babysitting Night

kids-craftsThe Lake Forest High School Business Professionals of America (BPA) will be holding a “Babysitting Night” on Friday, December 16th from 6pm-9pm.  This night is meant to give parents so much-needed R&R before the holidays…dinner and shopping or wrapping gifts.  See the attached flyer HERE to view entertainment provided for the children, cost and contact information to sign-up. Due to a re-scheduled basketball game that night, kids will be in the atrium and cafeteria, so drop-off will be the front doors. 2016 Winter Harvest Celebration

For the past 9 years, Kent County School Districts have joined resources and provided a Winter Harvest Event for needy families.  This year the Winter Harvest is being hosted by the Capital School District at Dover High School on Saturday, December 10th from 11am until 3pm.  The Smyrna and Lake Forest School District students are invited to attend the event. A clothing closet and toiletries giveaway will be provided for attendees. Santa will be on hand to hear special wishes, present each child with a gift and help usher in the holiday spirit.  A wonderful meal will be served by the Capital School District Child Nutrition Department. A dance floor will be opened up and music provided by a DJ will be enjoyed by all. (more…)
