The Lake Forest Board of Education recognized numerous students at the January 12, 2017 Board Meeting.

- Mrs. Hobbs group was recognized for receiving the John Dickinson Signer’s Award for the 2016 Delaware Day Competition. Click HERE to view the photo of Mrs. Hobbs with some of the award winners that were able to attend.

The Delaware Department of Education (DDOE) recognized three of the District’s elementary schools on Wednesday, January 11, 2017. Lake Forest East was recognized as a 2016 Reward School, Lake Forest South was recognized as a School of Continued Excellence and Lake Forest North was recognized as a National Title I Distinguished and Recognition School. The Central Elementary School 5th Grade Band Concert has been moved to Thursday, January 19th at 7pm at the Lake Forest High School.
The Lake Forest Spartan Invitational date has been changed. It will take place on Saturday, January 21, 2017 at W.T. Chipman Middle School starting at 10:00am.
