Congratulations to the boys basketball team for winning the Henlopen Conference Southern Division Championship.  The will be playing at Dover High School next Friday for the Henlopen Conference Championship.  There will be two games played next Friday:  Woodbridge High School vs. Cape Henlopen High School in the Girls’ Championship Game followed by Lake Forest High School vs. Dover High High School in the Boys’ Championship Game. The games will be played at Dover High School on Friday, February 22, 2019. Tip off time for the first game is 6:00 p.m.  DO NOT WAIT TO PURCHASE YOUR TICKETS, THIS GAME WILL SELL OUT!  Mr. Johnson will have tickets on sale at Lake Forest High School starting next week.




Congratulations to Shane Massey of Lake Forest High School, Shane participated in the Indoor Track & Field Championship and won the Henlopen Conference Championship in the 800 meter run and the DIAA State Championship in the 800 meter run.  Shane set a new school record for the 800 meter run with a time of 1:57.7. Shane has accepted a Scholarship to run track at Bowie State University. 






Congratulations to the Boys Wrestling Team for participating in the DIAA Division II Dual Team Wrestling Championships last weekend.  Dual Championships consist of the Top 8 teams in the State, the Wrestling Team was seeded 5th in the State for Division II Wrestling.  The Wrestling Team will be competing in the Henlopen Conference Wrestling Championships this Friday and Saturday at Sussex Central High School.






The Lake Forest Cheerleaders placed 1st at their Competition at Caesar Rodney High School this past weekend.  The Lake Forest High Cheer team were also crowned Grand Champions for posting the highest score of the day over all divisions.

In addition to the participation contest outlined on the poster, Kindergarten and Grade 1 are welcome to participate in a coloring contest.  Interested students can pick up ‘Start Your Engines w/ School Breakfast’ coloring pictures in their cafeterias.  All submissions are due by Friday, March 8th.  The following week, cafeteria staff will choose a winner for each grade and post their pictures in the cafeteria.  Child Nurtirion plan to try some new breakfast items during the week, so check out the menu and stop by to ‘start YOUR engines’!

8th Annual Father/Daughter Dance

The 8th Annual Father-Daughter Dance will be held on March 23, 2019.  There will be two seatings for dinner and the Dance.  Tickets are available in advance ONLY.  Tickets go on sale at W.T. Chipman February 25, 2019.  Please click the graphic above to view complete details.


The Varsity Boys Basketball won against Milford Bucs last night 60-59 with a packed house!  The Varsity Grils Basketball won by a landslide score of 76-36.  JV Boys and JV Girls both won as well.  It was a total win for Lake over the Milford Bucs! CONGRATUATIONS to all the Coaches and Players!
