Calling all Teachers and Students! The Shorebirds "Hit the Books" game is this Saturday, 4/13, at 7 pm! Students who participated in the Hit the Books contest earned 2 free vouchers that they need to redeem online or at the box office and may attend the game for free! Any other family member who attends will need to purchase additional tickets for the game, either online or at the box office at the stadium. Students who would like to attend the game that did not earn vouchers are welcome to attend, but must purchase tickets online or at the box office. There will be fireworks after the show and a chance for students to celebrate reading by walking in a parade before the game.
For students who would like to walk in the parade, we ask that students arrive no later than 6:15 so we can get going at 6:30. There will be Shorebirds staff on the field to assist students in finding their school's line up position. Schools are encouraged to create or bring a banner to recognize your school and participate in our banner competition.
Vouchers can be redeemed online for a small fee or at the box office window for free. Please note that the box office can get backed up and lines are to be expected.
