All students who plan to utilize the weight room, or any school facility to workout this summer must have a 24/25 DIAA Sports Physical dated on or after 04/01/24 turned in to Nurse Tatman by June 6th to participate. You can get them in the Wellness Center for FREE before school ends, so MAKE AN APPOINTMENT! The forms are on Spartans-sports.com.
Football will begin on August 5th, and all other Fall Sports will begin on August 12th. LFHS will be hosting a SPORTS PHYSICAL TURN IN NIGHT on Thursday August 1st from 4-6:30pm in the Pool Lobby. Nurse Tatman will be present to accept completed Sports Physicals as they must be signed by her or the Athletic Trainer to attend practices. Coaches cannot accept physicals. All football players must have their physicals turned in by the Sports Physical Night August 1st. All other athletes must have their physicals turned in to the Athletic Trainer by Thursday August 8th at noon.

Lake Forest East Elementary students visited Lake Forest High School's Agri-Science classes this week. With the assistance of the FFA officers and some of the members, the elementary students got to visit the barns, learn about the animals and learn where their food comes from. They also made flower arrangements and homemade ice cream. They enjoyed lessons from the high school students and teachers, and everyone enjoyed working together. #SpartanForLife
Lake Forest Odyssey of the Mind is having a Quarter Auction on Friday, May 10th at Lake Forest Central Elementary School. Doors open at 5pm and the Auction begins at 6pm. We hope you will join us to help the Lake Forest OM teams travel to Michigan to compete in World Finals.

I Love Lake Forest Day is this Saturday, May 4th, on the Lake Forest High School Campus and I hope you will be joining us! The event will run from 10-2 and highlights of the day include a digital student showcase, band and chorus performances, art tent, touch-a-truck, local authors, table vendors including LF student and community organizations, K-9 demos, DJ, LF food vendors, food trucks, petting zoo, wagon rides, games on the football field, LFEA’s pie in the face scholarship fundraiser and so much more. Please note that the entire event will be outside. See the schedule and map for event details and special thanks to our sponsors for helping to make this event possible. Senior Peyton Moore won Investwrite Essay Competition for the State of Delaware!
LF Kafenio Financial Services students led by Mrs. Rust won Junior Achievement of Delaware Company Program of the Year. This company worked with Mrs. Post’s Culinary students to provide coffee, refreshments, and bakery items to LFHS students and staff. They will be at I Love Lake Forest Day on May 4.
