Lake Forest School District is excited to share that the Kent County Transition Fair is coming up on March 29th at Lake Forest High School from 4-6 PM. This fair focuses on providing students and their families with information and resources for the transition from the educational system into adulthood. Opportunities to talk with local and state organizations from the areas of Employment, Education & Training, Mental Health, and Independent Living will be available. Beginning at 4:00 pm, keynote speakers will begin presenting. Speakers will discuss how students can utilize educational transition services throughout the state and explain what parents and guardians can do to actively participate in this process to support their child. Finally, those in attendance will qualify for the many door prizes, including a chance to win a 65-inch Phillips TV, a 3-month family membership to the YMCA, gift baskets, and several various gift cards. You will not want to miss out on this FREE event!
