Lake Forest North Elementary is a Title I school-wide program in the State of Delaware. North Elementary was named a National Distinguished Title I school for the 2010, as well as the 2013 school year.  This title was awarded to us for closing the achievement gap as measured by DCAS Testing. In addition, we were named a State Distinguished Title 1 School in 2009, 2011, and 2013.

We seek to provide programs for the wide variety of students and families that we serve. In addition to programs such as the Pre-Kindergarten Program and the Family Crisis Intervention Specialist, North Elementary has a Boys & Girls Club sponsored after-school program.

Our North PTO is quite active, supporting our school with many popular programs. North Elementary has a partnership with Wesley College, Delaware State University, Del Tech and Wilmington University to provide college student practicums and internships in our school. Lake Forest North is proud of the accomplishments of the staff and students in our school.
