Joshua Donophan has been selected as one of only two students to represent Delaware as a delegate to the United States Senate Youth Program (USSYP) to be held in person this year, March 4 – 11, 2023. Joshua will also receive a $10,000 college scholarship.
The USSYP was founded in 1962 through Senate Resolution and each year two of the highest-achieving students from each state, the District of Columbia and the Department of Defense Education system overseas are selected through an extremely competitive merit-based selection process held at the state departments of education nationwide. Congratulations to Joshua!

Congratulations to our Lake Forest Math League team on their November 29th victory at the regional Math League Competition held in Dover. The Lake Forest A and B teams took 1st and 2nd place in their division, while the ninth-grade team placed third in their division.

It is with great sadness that we have to share the news that Ms. Lawless, a teacher at Lake Forest High School for several years, passed away this morning. Students experience grief in different ways. We have staff at school to help students who are struggling.
