Did you know that this week is National School Lunch Week (NSLW)? The National School Lunch Program (NSLP) serves nearly 30 million children every school day. President John F. Kennedy created NSLW in 1962 to promote the importance of a healthy school lunch in a childโs life and the impact it has inside and outside of the classroom. October is also National Farm to School Month. Reps from Delaware Department of Education and Delaware Department of Agriculture Farm to School Program visited Lake Forest Central students on Tuesday during lunch as they ate "walking tacos" with locally sourced beef.

Last week, Dr. Lucas visited the three-generation, family-operated Garey Farm in Felton. During the visit, Dr. Lucas got to ride in a combine while harvesting corn. He also visited their grain storage facility, dryer and weigh station. Dr. Lucas was joined by Bill Garey, Alan Garey his sons Cole and Clay.
The Lake Forest High School Drama Club presents CLUE on the stage on November 16, 17 and 18 at 7pm.
Based on the iconic 1985 Paramount movie which was inspired by the classic Hasbro board game, CLUE is a hilarious farce-meets-murder mystery. The play begins on a dark and stormy night at a remote mansion, where six mysterious guests assemble for an unusual dinner party. When their host turns up dead, they all become suspects.
Sip soup with Miss Scarlett, Professor Plum, Mrs. Peacock, Colonel Mustard and a host of other classic oddballs as you unravel this whodunnit. CLUE is laugh-a-minute, high-octane fun for the entire family!
